Summer group music classes are great way to keep playing over the summer and have fun doing it. Do Re Mi Lessons offers small-group classes for strings and jazz students at all levels, running June through August and wrapping up with performances at City Park Jazz and the Summer Recital on August 15.
Classes are small by design, so students get real attention and real ensemble experience.
2026 Classes
Summer Strings Level 1 For students who started orchestra last fall. Wednesdays at 11:00am starting June 3.
Summer Strings Level 2 For string students with three or more years of experience. Wednesdays at 12:00pm starting June 3.
Irish Fiddling For violin, viola, and cello students with at least one year of experience. Wednesdays at 10:00am starting June 3.
Summer Jazz Ensemble For middle and high school students with at least one year of experience. Tuesdays at 10:00am starting June 2.
All classes perform at the Summer Recital on August 15.
