Mike earned his Bachelor of Music in double bass performance from Metropolitan State University and pursued advanced studies in Contemporary Improvisation at the New England Conservatory of Music.
Proficient across diverse musical settings, whether classical concert halls, rock stages, or jazz clubs, Mike’s musical journey spans from intimate house concerts to esteemed venues like Carnegie Hall. His musical talents are showcased in Ken Burns’ documentaries and the film “Up In the Air.”
