Do Re Mi studio FAQ’S:

What makes Do Re Mi different from other lesson studios?

Do-Re-Mi is a family-owned lesson studio. We value our students and want them to succeed. Many years of lesson experience has taught us that good relationships between students and teachers are critical to a student’s success in music. We understand that playing an instrument isn’t just about becoming a better musician; it’s a journey of personal growth. Students learning to play an instrument are also learning lessons in goal setting and problem solving. They are learning how to endeavor.

What lessons do you offer at Do Re Mi?

Do you sell instruments, sheet music and accessories?

Yes! We carry many of the items students often need for their lessons. Reeds, strings, rosin, drumsticks and more. We also have an affiliate partnership with Sweetwater Sound. This means that if a customer purchases an item from one of our links, Do Re Mi might get a small commission. Additionally, we always have a selection of print materials our teachers use. You can also easily download popular songs that we don’t have around.

Do you rent instruments

In addition to our affiliate relationship with Sweetwater, we are also a rental partner. This means we are able to rent band and orchestra instruments in partnership with Sweetwater. The instruments are all rented online and delivered directly to the customer.

Absolutely! Families love seeing the progress their loved ones are making. We work hard to provide fun, low-pressure, and unique performance opportunities for our students. Each year, we host two Do Re Mi studio wide recitals: Do Re Mi and You in the Park during the summer, and a Winter Recital held in a public space like Southwest Plaza Mall. Additionally, Our students have performed at Colorado Rockies and DU Hockey games. We have had caroling groups share their talents at retirement facilities. Here at Do Re Mi, we believe that finding the right performance opportunities fosters learning and growth for our students.

What is the right age to start music lessons?

You are never too old to learn a new instrument. In fact, there are tons of benefits to keeping the brain active as we age. Some instruments are better suited for younger children.
